Students learn to paint and draw realistically. We either use real objects or photographs of real things. Developing the skill to represent reality is an important step regardless of the mature style students eventually develop.
Classes are small and often, ages and abilities are mixed. Everyone works at their own pace. Older kids mentor the younger ones and the younger ones aspire to the skill of the older students.
It works.
Students range in age from 8- 19.
Classes are scheduled for after school,
Monday through Thursday. Each class meets weekly and is an hour and a half long.
