I have been teaching art since 1968. After some years teaching in public schools, I then focused on raising my family of three children.

When I was three, my first finished drawing was a house in the snow. Each snowflake was the size of a basketball! But that didn't slow me down.
A self avowed color junkie, I shifted through
printmaking, watercolor and oil painting to pastel painting. Now, pastels are perfect for me. Currently, I'm a member of the Copley Society.

For twenty years, I have taught children in my home studio. It's a perfect combination of two of my passions, kids and art.

I love flowers! For 30 years,I and my friend Trish, ran a wedding flower business, Flowers and Finery.

Currently, I head up Future for Farato, a charity that educates poor children in The Gambia, West Africa.
